Sydney Bridge Climb
We did the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb! We climbed about 1,300 steps to the very top of the bridge, nearly 40 stories above the harbor, with views stretching out in every direction. We spent just over two hours on the bridge, walking the arches, listening to stories, and stopping more than once just to take it all in. Amazing experience and especially meaningful if you are even a little afraid of heights! (a few of these photos are from the bridge website to show how high we were).

Day Trip to the Blue Mountains
We took a day trip to the Blue Mountains, just outside Sydney. We explored Katoomba, saw the Three Sisters, and took in the huge cliffside views. The Scenic Railway was so fun, basically a roller coaster, shooting up the mountain backwards and fast. The area used to be an old mining region, and between the misty cliffs, tunnels, and winding paths, it felt very Scooby-Doo. It’s also known for ancient fossils and dinosaur discoveries, which made it even cooler. We ended the day with a photo with a koala, then took a boat trip back into Sydney Harbour, the perfect way to wrap it all up. 🐨🚤
Great Ocean Road in Melbourne
We spent the day driving along the Great Ocean Road, one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world. The views were unreal, with cliffs dropping straight into the ocean and waves crashing below. We stopped at the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, pulling over constantly just to take it all in. We also walked through eucalyptus forests and saw tons of koalas sleeping in the trees, plus kangaroos casually hanging out on golf courses. It felt wild, dramatic, and very Australian from start to finish.
